The Sources tab allows managing project data, files, shared definitions, and service connections used across pipelines.
The view is divided into three main sections: Files, Definitions, and Services.
Access to this tab is available for Managers and for Users with the Write Files permission.
The Files tab displays the folder and file structure of each source.
It allows users to create folders, upload files, and organize data used in pipelines.
Managers and users with Write Files permission can create and upload content, while only Managers can delete an entire source.
Each user has access to the Shared source, which is public.
Access to other sources is permission-based — users can only view or manage folders for which they have explicit rights.
The file area includes several action buttons:
A search field is available at the top to filter files by name or file type.
Users can upload new files either via the Upload button or by drag-and-drop directly into the current folder.
Upload progress is shown in the Upload manager, accessible from the top-right corner.
The manager lists current and completed uploads and allows clearing the history.
Files and folders deleted from a source are moved to the Trash, from which they can be restored or permanently removed.
The Definitions tab allows storing and managing reusable parameters at the source level.
These may include constants, configuration values, or credentials that can later be referenced inside pipelines Global parameters using this source.
Managers and users with write file permissions can add, remove, or edit constant and secret definitions.
Each definition entry typically includes:
This feature ensures that shared values remain consistent across multiple pipelines connected to the same source.
The Services tab is used to define and manage external connections such as databases, APIs, or message brokers.
These configurations simplify access to external data sources and ensure consistent connection settings across pipelines.
Managers and users with Write Files permission can create new service connections.
Once created, the defined connections become automatically available in the pipeline interface inside pipelines Global parameters for users who have access to this source.
