¶ Description
The sortColumns action sorts the rows of a table based on values in one or more specified columns. It supports multi-level sorting and can sort data either lexicographically (alphabetically) or numerically depending on the content type and configuration.

Description: List of column names to sort the table by, in the order they should be evaluated.
Example:Names, Departament, Salary, Age -
numeric sort
Description: Enables numeric sort on the selected columns. When off, sorting is performed as text even for numbers.
Type: Boolean
Default: Off

¶ When to Use
- When preparing structured reports sorted by employee, department, and salary
- Before performing operations like deduplication, joins, or filtering
- For organizing output prior to exporting or aggregation
¶ Tips
- Always enable numeric sort when working with values like salaries, ages, or quantities to avoid incorrect lexicographical ordering (e.g. "100" < "25").
- You can sort by any number of columns, and the sorting will be applied hierarchically from left to right.
