Decompress and/or unpack an archive.
Note: Many input actions already support archives, so this action may not always be necessary.
¶ Supported File Formats:
ZIP, RAR, TAR, 7z, XZ, BZIP2, GZIP, WIM, APFS, AR, ARJ, CAB, CHM, CPIO, CramFS, DMG, EXT, FAT, GPT, HFS, IHEX, ISO, LZH, LZMA, MBR, MSI, NSIS, NTFS, QCOW2, RPM, SquashFS, UDF, UEFI, VDI, VHD, VHDX, VMDK, XAR, Z
¶ Usage Notes
- Use this action to decompress archive files into a specified directory.
- The Multiple files option allows extracting several archives at once.
- You must specify both:
- The Archive file path (
idPath) - The Destination folder (
idDest)
- The Archive file path (
- Ensure your archive type is listed in the Supported File Formats.
- This action is useful for automating archive extraction in data pipelines.
